There are very few times in your art career where you look at something you drew and you’re wowed by it. This is one of those times.
In my mind I had a very specific way I wanted to look and this exceeded that by miles. I’m really happy with the way his gaze came out, since many times I stopped, and was very scared I was loosing what I really wanted to convey with this image.
This image, unlike the other images of Hayze, has a great deal of meaning in it. It’s actually based off a few scenes I just wrote. Sadly, no one will really be able to figured it out unless they’ve read the whole thing. However, I hope everyone still gathers a story by it. Or a feeling.
This piece is called “Crimson Sheets”.
