Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor

 

There are very few times in your art career where you look at something you drew and you’re wowed by it. This is one of those times. In my mind I had a very specific way I wanted to look and this exceeded that by miles. I’m really happy with the way his gaze came out, since many times I stopped, and was very scared I was loosing what I really wanted to convey with this image.  This image, unlike the other images of Hayze, has a great deal of meaning in it. It’s actually based off a few scenes I just wrote. Sadly, no one will really be able to figured it out unless they’ve read the whole thing. However, I hope everyone still gathers a story by it. Or a feeling.  This piece is called “Crimson Sheets”.
